Glass Sand Blasting

Sandblasting is very effective for corporate logos and silhouette artwork, for example, entry doors, reception counters and displays, meeting room walls, any glass paneling and dividers, door panels and even house numbers.

Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface. Sand used to be the most commonly used material, however Suburban Glass & Leadlights choose to use garnet, a fine gemstone that can be re-used several times and is the most environmentally sound option. Sandblasting is carefully controlled, using an alternate air supply, protective wear, and proper ventilation.

Suburban Glass & Leadlights has years of experience in glass sandblasting and all the necessary skills, equipment and tools required.

Suburban Glass & Leadlights now offer a permanent non-stick protective coating for use on all sandblasted glass surfaces. EnduroShield keeps sandblasted glass surfaces looking new by protecting the surfaces against the problems of staining and fingerprints which are so common with sandblasted glass.
