Glass Sand Blasting
Sandblasted glass can be a very effective technique in both domestic and commercial situations. Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface.
Sand used to be the most commonly used material, however Suburban Glass & Leadlights choose to use garnet, a fine gemstone that can be re-used several times and is the most environmentally sound option. Sandblasting is carefully controlled, using an alternate air supply, protective wear, and proper ventilation.
Suburban Glass & Leadlights has years of experience in glass sandblasting and all the necessary skills, equipment and tools required.
Sandblasting is very effective for corporate logos and silhouette artwork, for example, entry doors, reception counters and displays, meeting room walls and any glass paneling and dividers.
